One Christmas morning at 6:30 a.m., while our founder, Anna Meshcheri, was photographing clients near the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree, she noticed a beautiful proposal unfolding nearby.

A couple from France, with their little child peacefully sitting in a stroller, had chosen one of the most magical places in New York City to get engaged.

It quickly became obvious that no one was photographing them.

There was no friend hiding nearby.

Just this incredibly emotional moment happening in front of one of the world's most famous Christmas trees.

Anna couldn't simply walk away.

She quietly captured a few photographs from a distance while continuing her own session. Afterward, she introduced herself and shared the images with the couple.

Those photographs became the only professional memories they had of one of the happiest days of their lives.
