Celebrating World Photography Day: Thank You for Trusting Us With Your New York Memories

Every year, World Photography Day gives us a chance to reflect on why we do what we do.

At Times Square Photo Studio, photography has never been just about taking beautiful pictures. It's about preserving moments that people will look back on years from now with a smile. It's about capturing the excitement of a first visit to New York City, the joy of a surprise proposal, the anticipation of welcoming a new baby, or simply a family spending quality time together.

We feel incredibly grateful to be part of so many meaningful moments.

Capturing Memories From Around the World

One of the most rewarding parts of our job is meeting people from every corner of the globe.

Over the years, we've photographed visitors from dozens of countries, each arriving in New York City with their own story to tell. Some are celebrating anniversaries, others are on their honeymoon, marking a graduation, planning a surprise proposal, celebrating a birthday, or finally taking the dream trip they've been planning for years.

For many of our clients, their photoshoot becomes one of the highlights of their New York experience.

Knowing that our photographs will become part of their family albums for generations is something we never take for granted.

More Than Just New York Vacation Photos

Although we're known for our New York City photoshoots, our work extends far beyond vacation photography.

Inside our Times Square studio, we've welcomed families, maternity clients, professionals needing branding portraits, actors updating headshots, graduates celebrating milestones, couples documenting new chapters, and creatives bringing unique editorial concepts to life.

Every session is different because every person who steps in front of our camera has a different story.

Our goal is never to create photographs that simply look beautiful.

We want to create images that feel personal.

Every Session Begins With Your Story

One of the things we love most about photography is that no two sessions are ever the same.

Some clients arrive with detailed Pinterest boards and creative ideas. Others simply want to enjoy their time in New York while we guide them every step of the way.

Whether we're photographing you in the bright lights of Times Square, beneath the trees in Central Park, on the Brooklyn Bridge at sunrise, or inside our professional studio, our focus remains the same: creating timeless photographs that genuinely reflect who you are.

Those authentic moments often become our favorite images.

Why We Love Photography

Photography allows us to freeze moments that can never be recreated.

Children grow up.

Families change.

Trips come to an end.

But photographs have an incredible ability to bring us back to those moments years later.

That's one of the greatest gifts photography can offer.

Every smile, every laugh, every embrace, every celebration becomes a memory you can revisit again and again.

Thank You for Being Part of Our Journey

World Photography Day is also an opportunity to say thank you.

To every family who trusted us with their vacation memories.

To every couple who allowed us to capture one of the happiest days of their lives.

To every parent who brought their children into our studio.

To every professional who trusted us with their personal brand.

And to every visitor who chose Times Square Photo Studio to remember their time in New York City.

Thank you for allowing us to do what we love.

Your stories are what make our work so meaningful.

If you're planning a trip to New York City, celebrating a special milestone, or simply looking for timeless portraits you'll treasure for years to come, we'd love to help tell your story.

Send us a message to learn more about our New York City photoshoots, professional studio sessions, maternity photography, family portraits, personal branding, headshots, and custom photography experiences. We can't wait to create beautiful memories with you.

A Few Words from Anna Meshcheri

Founder & Head Photographer of Times Square Photo Studio, celebrating World Photography Day

World Photography Day always reminds me why I chose this profession and how incredibly grateful I am to do what I love every single day.

One of the greatest privileges of my career has been earning the trust of people from all over the world to capture some of the most meaningful moments of their lives. Every photoshoot is unique, and every client has a story. Whether you're celebrating your first trip to New York City, a surprise proposal, welcoming a new baby, celebrating your family, or simply creating memories together, it is truly an honor to be trusted with those moments.

One of my favorite parts of photography is seeing an idea evolve from the very first conversation all the way to the final gallery. It starts with planning your session, choosing the perfect locations or designing the right studio setup, then finally meeting you, capturing your story, and carefully editing every image. Watching that entire journey unfold—and seeing your reaction when you receive your photographs—is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

People often ask me how many clients I've photographed over the years, and while I honestly couldn't tell you the number, I can tell you that I remember so many of their stories. I remember the surprise proposals we kept secret, the families who returned to celebrate new milestones, the travelers fulfilling lifelong dreams of visiting New York City, and the moments of pure excitement we shared during our sessions. Those memories stay with me just as much as the photographs stay with you.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for supporting a small, woman-owned business and for trusting Times Square Photo Studio with your precious memories. Your support means more than you could ever imagine, and I feel incredibly lucky to call this my career.

I hope to welcome many more of you in front of my camera and continue creating beautiful memories together for years to come.

With gratitude,
Anna Meshcheri
